the start of something big!

If you’re one of 350,000 lucky people in the Greater Los Angeles area, you’ve received this direct mail brochure with juicy details about The Hollywood Bowl’s exciting 2010 Season.
How does one possibly sum up an entire summer’s worth of performances and events, spanning just about every musical genre known to man, all in the unparalleled setting of The Bowl? In working on this season’s marketing materials, I wrote “That Summer Sensation…” (along with plenty of other options, of course) and it stuck. It’s a line that you’ll be seeing and hearing all over town in the coming months, and across all mediums.

I’ve been working on projects for the LA Philharmonic and The Hollywood Bowl for several years now, and it’s always a pleasure to work with such a smart, responsive and positive team. I wish I could take credit for them bringing Grace Jones to the Bowl last summer, but that epic night wasn’t my idea – just a dream come true!
